Spread holiday cheer with the USask CLRC Adopt a Senior program

The Clinical Learning Resource Centre (CLRC) is collecting donations of new items until Dec. 15 to brighten the season for Saskatoon seniors.

The University of Saskatchewan Clinical Learning Resource Centre (CLRC) is proud to continue its partnership with Saskatoon Home Support through the Adopt a Senior program. This annual initiative helps bring comfort and joy to local seniors who could use a little extra support during the holidays.

Donations of the following new items will be gratefully accepted at the CLRC front desk in Room 2200, Health Sciences Building E-Wing, until 4 pm, Dec. 15, 2025:

  • Crossword puzzle books
  • Puzzles
  • Bodywash and lotion
  • Shampoo, conditioner, and deodorant
  • Toothpaste and toothbrushes
  • Pyjamas and slippers

Thanks to the generosity of the USask community, dozens of gift bags have been delivered to seniors in past years—making a real difference in their lives.

Please note that only new or unused items will be accepted. If you’re unable to drop off items at the CLRC, arrangements can be made for staff to collect donations elsewhere on campus.
