Research, teaching and learning
The Health Sciences Building project is the largest capital building project in the University of Saskatchewan's history and an investment in the future of health education and practice in Saskatchewan and beyond. The innovative new facility offers a highly integrated experience for students in all health care fields. We will introduce leading teaching concepts, conduct broad research investigations that advance our understanding of health issues and explore how to best provide clinical services that respond to the needs of today's patients.
The USask Health Sciences Office is the central service point for all Health Sciences Building repairs, maintenance, minor work requests (including equipment owned by departments), service requests, trouble calls, emergency repairs, and telephone and key requests.
Mission and Vision
The health sciences will enhance the capacity for high quality health care by enabling the education of a new generation of healthcare practitioners with skills in interprofessional healthcare and health promotion, promoting excellence in interdisciplinary health research, and sharing in outreach and community engagement.
Together, the health sciences will be leaders in advancing health, locally and globally, through excellence in interprofessional education and practice, interdisciplinary life and health sciences discovery, and committed engagement with stakeholders.
